At the crossroads between drawing and intervention in public space, Anaïs Edely's work calls upon the power of attraction of mental images revolving around the body and the nude: thoughts, fantasies and dreams and how these animate and condition us. The research in real-time she is sharing within the collective les actionnaires consists to singularly revisit one’s daily lives and social representation around it. To Edely, the collective compositions happily thrive the friction of meeting individual artistic approaches; it enables the members and the public to experience their interpretations and reinterpretations of mooves and poses on one hand and strikes its boundaries on the other hand.
Graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts et Industries Graphiques (ESAIG) in Paris, and the Münster Fachhochschule für Design (MSD) in Germany, Anaïs Edely is a French-German visual artist based in Berlin.
